The Calm Waters is a deeply soothing, barrier-focused facial designed specifically for sensitive, reactive, rosacea-prone, and easily irritated skin.

Using ultra-gentle marine-based products, including lavender cleansing milk, skin calming booster, and a three-layer mask sequence with a cooling quartz roller, this facial works to reduce redness, reinforce the skin’s protective barrier, and restore balance without triggering flare-ups.

Gentle enough for your most reactive days. Effective enough to actually change how your skin behaves over time.

This facial is for you if your skin overreacts to products, weather, stress, or just the wrong facial.

It’s designed for rosacea, chronic redness, reactive skin, and clients who’ve been “burned” by other facials and are now cautious. It’s also a wonderful first-facial option for anyone wanting a gentle, low-risk introduction to professional skincare.

Your session opens with a hot towel and Serenity Oil breathwork. This grounding ritual begins calming your nervous system before anything touches your skin.

Your esthetician uses a massage-cleanse blend of Lavender Cleansing Milk and Laminaria Oil. A Marine Moisturizing Mist balances hydration before a second, thorough cleanse removes any remaining residue.

The heart of the session is the mask sequence: Skin Calming Booster pressed gently into the skin, followed by a cooling Honey Gel Mask applied with a fan brush and smoothed with a cool quartz roller, While your mask works, you receive a hand, arm, and neck treatment.

The session closes with targeted eye care and barrier-reinforcing finishing products.

Note: A mild optional Flower Acid Peel may be included if your skin shows it can tolerate it. It’s
never pushed, always assessed in real time.

There is an optional mild exfoliation step, a gentle Flower Acid Peel, included only if your skin shows it’s appropriate during the session. If you’re in a reactive phase, we skip it entirely. Your skin always leads.

Every 4–6 weeks is a good starting rhythm for sensitive skin. Regular professional care alongside a minimal at-home routine builds barrier resilience over time … and most clients notice their skin becoming less reactive with each session.
