Sunshine City Massage and Spa began with one massage table, one therapist, and one simple goal: create the kind of care we’d want for the people we love.
Today we’ve grown into a team of massage therapists and estheticians who believe expertise matters, details matter, and every person deserves to leave feeling better than when they arrived.

Sunshine City Massage and Spa began with a desire for something better.
It started with a belief that massage could be more thoughtful, more individualized, and more effective than what many people had experienced before.
Since 2017, that philosophy has grown from a one-person mobile practice into one of St. Petersburg’s highest-rated therapeutic massage and facial spas.
Along the way we’ve been honored with local awards, but what matters most are the relationships we’ve built with the people who continue trusting us with their care.

Sunshine City Massage and Spa has always been independent. No franchise. No corporate playbook. Just local people taking care of local people in the city we call home.
Feb 2017
One massage table, a beat-up but reliable old Toyota 4Runner, and a growing cadre of loyal clients. Sunshine City Mobile Massage started as a mobile massage practice traveling throughout St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay, bringing personalized therapeutic massage directly into people’s homes.
Dec 2019
After hundreds of home visits, there were too many clients to manage driving between and it was time for a permanent home. Opening our first studio allowed us to create an experience that reflected everything we believed great care should feel like. With added perks like hot towels and heated tables.
May 2025
Growth never meant becoming bigger for the sake of being bigger. It meant finding people who shared the same philosophy. Welcoming our first team members marked the beginning of Sunshine City becoming more than one therapist. It became a place where exceptional practitioners could grow together.
